Brand Identity Design for Font NYC and Fount Paris
Project Goal: To create a brand identity for Fount Church that captures the essence of its mission: a church that exists as a source of life in the city, rooted in Christ and open to all. The goal was to develop a visual system that could translate spiritual depth into a modern design language—building cohesion across platforms while maintaining space for mystery, reverence, and grace.
About the Project
The branding for Fount Church was designed to reflect a community rooted in depth, clarity, and sacred presence. Inspired by the church’s name—“Fount,” a source of life and renewal—the identity system draws from both ancient rhythms and modern simplicity. The logo mark evokes movement and stillness, a flow that speaks to both the Spirit’s power and the intimacy of communion with God. Typography choices lean into timelessness over trend, balancing elegance with approachability. The palette is restrained and meaningful, echoing the physicality of water, stone, and light. Across digital, print, and environmental touchpoints, the visual language was shaped to feel both ecclesial and contemporary—something that could hold the weight of the sacred without ever feeling distant. This branding is not just a look, but a liturgy of design—a framework that holds space for presence, beauty, and belonging.
